four rings that do not agree
twelve petals, fourteen roundels, thirty-four columns, forty-four loops. every ring alone is still. the only thing that moves is the one nobody carved — the between, lit here in paper-white wherever a stone sits dead between two stones of the ring inside it. make the roundels twelve and watch the inner wave go still. the counts are the ones from the piazza; recount the outer two on site and set them here if the stone disagrees.
